Subjects: Language Arts, Social Studies, and TEAM

Education: BS in Middle School Education from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, concentrations in English and Social Studies.

Bio: This is my eighth year teaching at the middle school level, and my first year here at Euclid.  When I’m not at school I try to get away for camping trips, backpacking, skiing, or cycling.  At home I immerse myself in home improvement projects, writing, and my not-so-secret pleasure – reading adolescent literature.  Perhaps someday I’ll blend two of my favorite pastimes and I’ll write a teen lit novel.

 Kathy PotterMinimize

Subjects: Math and Social Studies.

Education: BS in special education from University of Utah and a Masters in Educational Leadership from UNC.

Bio: I have taught since 1979 in grades from 2nd to 8th. I started out in special education but decided I wanted to be in the classroom with all different levels of students. I liked having my own class and being responsible for their individual learning. Math, by far, is my favorite subject to teach. The patterns in math lead to such great discoveries. My goal is to continue learning different techniques and strategies to help student master the variety of concepts in math. When a child finally masters a difficult concept and is so excited and proud, I know I have done my job well, and I feel a great satisfaction.
