The Industrial Revolution Invention Project - Due Tuesday

The Invention
Paragraph Describe an invention from the Industrial Revolution.  Explain how the invention worked. If it replaced a preexisting technology, describe the equipment or process that it replaced. IMPORTANT: Explain how this invention affected the Industrial Revolution and how/if it affects life today. If the development has since been mede obsolete by other technology, explain what replaced it.
Model/Diagram Create either a model or a diagram of the invention. The purpose of this piece is to show what it looked like and how it worked.
The Inventor
Paragraph Write a brief biography of the inventor (7 sentence minimum). Include notable events from his/her life as well as the circumstances that prompted him/her to develop the invention.
The Presentation
Projects will be presented for the class and displayed as a museum around the classroom. To accommodate this, all projects must be ready by the beginning of class on Tuesday, December 16th.
